While adding your ATV to your homeowner’s policy might seem like a simple solution, it might also leave you with some gaps in coverage. That is where a specific ATV policy can help.       ***YOUR INSURANCE COVERAGE OPTIONS****       All policies include liability coverage, which protects you financially if you’re responsible for an accident. Then, there are optional coverages.       Here is a list of some of those coverages and a brief explanation of them:   - **Accessory:** Some policies include a small amount of accessory coverage, but you can increase that coverage if needed. So, if any of your ATV accessories– from headlights and winches to bumpers and more– if they are damaged during your ride, they can be replaced. - **Liability:** The insurance company will pay if you injure someones or damages someone’s property in an accident. When you buy liability, you choose a limit – the maximum amount the insurer will pay for a liability claim. - **Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist:** The insurer pays to repair damage to your vehicle caused by a driver who does not have insurance. - **Medical Payments:** The insurer pays for the cost of reasonable and necessary medical care you get as a result of an accident, regardless of who’s at fault. In most cases, you can choose up to a $25,000 limit. - **Transport Trailer:** Cover the trailer you use to haul your ride.
